Ceremony - The Sauber Farm

The Sauber family farm has a history for producing corn, soybeans, dairy cattle, pigs, chickens and loving family members. Five generations of Sauber descendants have lived, worked and cherished the land and its heritage. In the 1890’s Peter Sauber, a first generation German American, started farming the land. Peter married Anna Braun in 1900 and this union gave rise to 11 children (eight boys and three girls). The older boys in the family went off to fight in the World Wars. George, the fifth, stayed home , helped manage the farm and take care of the remaining family. George had two great loves in his life Mary Rita Roach and the farm (which he purchased from his parents). George and Mary farmed, raised three children (Georgie, Tom and Jim) and were active in the community. George and Mary Sauber were Kelly’s grandparents. The farmland is still farmed by John and Jeff Sauber (cousins of Georgie) and the farm house remains in the family with Chris and Melissa Molitor.

We all delighted that you can share this important day on the farm and add to the memories. This farm land means the world to Kelly and she cannot wait to share it with you all.

Reception - Brackett's Crossing Country Club

Luke's childhood home is in the Brackett's neighborhood. He spent countless hours biking around cul-de-sacs with neighbor kids. He was often found yelling on the tennis courts with Tony or cheating at swim meets with his cousins.

Some of Luke's best stories & memories are from the days in the Brackett's neighborhood. He cannot wait to make new memories with you all.
